Johnson Creek is typical of
many of the back country strips you find in Idaho. It
is a beautiful well-maintained strip that any of our airplanes could safely
operate from with the wheel pants on. The scenery is spectacular and the strip
has a lot of accommodations i.e., restrooms, camp sites, etc. It is rather busy
however, so don’t expect to be alone. Other strips like Indian Creek are just
as safe and easy to visit but far removed from crowds and much less traveled.
Due to this they have considerably more of the quiet back country feel. There
is something for everyone in the back country.
